Customer Question

My 73 year old dad has stage 4 lung cancer and after his cancer was stabilized
by chemo he is on a 2 month break during which we thought it would be
good to try some of the natural therapies. The problem is nearly all of
them are blood thinning and he was recently put on Elequis for afib.
Could you tell me if taking a tsp of tumeric powder a day would be a
blood thinning risk. We were also thinking about graviola tea,
reservatrol and frankenscense oil...all of which mention they are
blood thinning. I am not talking about large does of any of it, most
likely one tsp of tumeric, 1 cup of graviola tea, a reservatrol pill and
topical application of frankenscence a couple times a day. We would
like to try anything we can but certainly dont want to put him at bleeding
risk. Do you advise against any of these. We are mostly interested in
the tumeric but would love advice on all of them. Thanks!

Does he take any other meds?

Besides the ones you listed I mean?

He is on blood pressure meds and ativan.

There is really no evidence that the other supplements will help

I agree with tumeric though. There is evidence this is helpful

I also think it will be fine with the other meds.

This is contradictory to what I have read. So you think the
turmeric is OK to take with Eliquis?

yes I do
