Prognosis of 70 yr old man in relatively good shape from 3 stent procedure following MI with almost no damage at all - caught early and mental/emotional aspects excellent.

Well I haven't seen the report, but will call it as minimally bad as is reasonable to expect - apparently there were warnings, if not an outright MI prior to 48 hrs later when things became obvious, but even then (and an echo has been done since) while he was not thinking terribly straight - took time to arrange for cat sitter and trimmed his beard - 30 mins? he never lost cons. and stents were done within 1 hr++ of getting to hospital (in Melbourne, Aus).
If there is no damage and proper meds are taken and diet and exercise is employed then he will live a long life.Prognosis excellent Please don't click "bad" or "poor" as this leaves negative feedback. If you aren't 100% satisfied, just click "continue conversation."
Just want to say thank you! Have read some web info that talks about 3 yr average span for stents vs surgery, which is a bit hard to read... love him a ridiculous amount :-)!
You're welcome. :)No way to that stat.I have patients with stents from 15 years ago and still going strong!
