What could be causing this drop?

Already Tried:
Deep breathing, more fluid. When she gets up to go to the bathroom it rose to 140/90 but within 20 minutes was back down

I noticed your question was posted a few hours ago. How are you doing now?

I didn't give her a metoprolol last night, nor her sleeping pills and her bp and pulse are much better today. Thanks. I'm assuming she was being given too much of the metoprolol; her dose had been increased three weeks ago. What is your opinion on that?

Yes, I agree.

 

If she had a recent dose increase then that could be the cause.

 

What you should do is take her in to see the doctor today for an official check.

 

Making sure its nothing else like an infection causing this.
