Hello, I am Randall. I have some questions to start, what engine do you have? Did this happen all at once? Is it possible to run engine till you feel it is up to temp and fee each of the 2 heater hoses going into the firewall on passenger side under the hood?

Customer: replied 18 days ago.
3.1-liter V-6 engine and it's always had this problem since I got the car and both hoses do heat up gauge goes to running temp

If you can take the insulator panel under the dash off and look at the actuators while you change the temp and see if they move. Do the heater hose get warm or are the very hot?

Expert:  Marvin the Mechanic replied 18 days ago.

Here are images of the actuators.
