The problem you are describing is a very common problem and it is caused by a failing LCM (lighting control module) which is also where the clicking noise is coming from. The LCM is located just above the gas pedal under the dash and the fix is going to be to replace it. When replacing it programming is required as well. See the link below for the replacement steps.
