My 2005 grand vitara keeps blowing fuse immediately it

my 2005 grand vitara keeps blowing fuse immediately it switched om. var had new clutch recently
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: the clutch was just worn out. no play left in it
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Vitara yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i have just tried a new fuse and it blew immediately
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no just why the fuse blows

hey how are you

1- which fuse is it , does the fuse cover has a label indicating the circuit ?

2- did the vehicle did not blew that fuse before the clutch replacement ?

3- was the electrical connector and all work on the clutch( pulling trans out rechecked for any wires , touching each other , wires rubbing against the frame .?

we sure have a short if it blowing as soon as you insert the new fuse

its the heater blower fuse and I had a new clutch fitted two months ago and only now do I need the heater

ok , unplug the blower motor from passenger side under gloves box and see if that fuses keeps blowing?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If it's blowing the blower motor fuse with the motor unplugged then there is a short to ground in the wiring somewhere between the fuse and blower motor.

If you remove the blower motor relay does the fuse blow?
