Hi Im David. Taking the back seat out and doing what? cutting through the floor?

hello??

do you still need assistance?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Removing the rear seat and cutting a hole in the floor wouldn't be recommended. You may not find the problem that way, it would weaken the vehicle's structure, and it would cause sparks in the area of the fuel leak to cut a hole in the floor.

If there is fuel coming from the top of the tank then the tank needs to be removed to find the source. The problem may be the tank itself, the fuel pump, it's seal, or the problem may be one of the lines. If the tank itself is leaking then it needs to be replaced.
