I've been Googlein for a few weeks ago few min is no big deal

here a print. please check all of the fuses.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
I feel I have

Have you checked the fusible links?

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
Where is that at

in the engine compartment fuse box.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
All look good in there

check all the connection for corrosion and tightness. at the battery terminals. at the alternator. check the main battery ground where it bolts to the engine. check the other battery ground also.

check the connector that plugs into the alternator. make sure the wiring insnt damaged and the connector isnt loose.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
There is no ground wire from negative battery post to engine

there has to be. thats the main ground

it might be connected to the transmission instead.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
The only lead coming off negative terminal goes to the body next to the fuserver box

how long have you had the vehicle and has any other work been done to it lately?. also if you look at the print ive attached. there is a main ground wire that need to go to the engine. its the main reason you are having the problem

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
Well it's my step sons car and he had transmission problemso took it to a mec in the city and now this is about 2 months after

well you need to go buy a negative battery cable that goes from the battery to the engine block. and also need to check the continuity of the wiring from the alternator to the relay box and to the fuse panel inside the passenger compartment that goes to the pre excitation resistor

Customer: replied 12 days ago.

keep me posted ...thanks

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
Stores are closed tomorrow work on this same site?

yes. ill be here til we fix her.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
Ok. It's getting dark and I'm not in my shop so have to wait till I get off work tomorrow
Customer: replied 12 days ago.
pre excitation resistor
What is this
Customer: replied 12 days ago.
How do I check continuity

drop the power down to a manageable operable level. lets just install the ground cable before we worry about the continuity.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
I did a jumper wire

it needs to be a large gauge cable securely fastened at the battery and to the engine block

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
Lol ok fine I'll wait one more day,

any luck?

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
I got the wire didn't have time to put it on

ok well keep me posted

Customer: replied 11 days ago.

what about the 100 amp fuse?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Ok I'm getting something, there is a 120 amp fuse that I checked and good but when I wiggle it the volts jump up to 14

is it a link fuse with copper sides?

ill be back on in about an hour. gotta get out of this shop and get home

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Ito in a plastic housing, the 4 gauge wire from alt to bat, as it connects to battery
