I note that the car runs well at first an so begins to hiccup.
Expert:  Greg replied 3 months ago.

Okay no check engine light .

I would do first a fuel pressure test and see what the pressure is .

Has any service work been done ,likr spark plugs etc.

No service work. Have no pressure guage. why rhe time lag when starting til symptons? Is there a breather? Could it be the catyliser?
Expert:  Greg replied 3 months ago.

Time lag could be the fuel pressure ,on start up it will pump for a few seconds to build pressure then ones started

pump kicks in and pressure may drop .

If any sensors was to be the problem you would have a check engine light ON.

To confirm the check engine light ,does it come ON with the ignition then go out when engine starts .

Okay Jeff you need to do a fuel pressure test .

But first :

Remove the hose from the throttle body and see if gunked up with carbon deposits a dirty throttle body can cause you

this problem also .

If dirty clean with a can of throttle cleaner spray .
