Customer: A short time after driving, attempting to start the car -- it is flooded. The inside of the carbs is wet and gas is dripping out of the center (mounting screw) of the venturi cluster
JA: Is there anything else the Marine Mechanic should be aware of?

Motor Manual gives choke adjust within 1/32 compared with the factory service manual at 1/8 in ; The float is correct
Expert:  Roy replied 3 months ago.

ok, I am not there to verify and those are the only reasons for fuel dripping into the venturi I have been building carbs for over 30 years.

I will opt out since I can help no further and maybe someone else can help you

good luck
