Hello and welcome to just answer. At cranking speed the oil pressure should be at least 3 to 5 PSI. You may want to prime the pump before actually starting the engine. Do that by removing the distributor and spinning the pump shaft with a drill motor. Then reinstall the distributor and then crank the engine.
