Customer Question

Have a 1999 Suzuki vitara 4cyl. 2 ltr. Using 20 litres per 100 km.
It has had a new Maf sensor fitted and the ox.sensor changed although there has been one wire cut of on this.it was like this when purchased but was doing about 1km/100 k.
Also on the road just over 3000 revs the temp gauge drops to cold and goes back to normal when backed off a little

Unable to use scan tool as it won't connect to car.
Has flash code system and the check engine light was on but went off with new Maf sensor, disconnected battery to reset.

would your scan tool not communicate with the system .

Should have the OBD being a 1999 model.

But if you replaced the MAF and that was the problem then the light will go out automatically when the ECM is cleared by disconnecting the battery .

If the light comes back on then there is still a problem in the management system .

Which wire was cut ? on the O2 sensor .
