Hello I will help you with your question,

What are the lines made of?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

aluminum

Expert:  George H. replied 1 year ago.

Sorry I don't have info on working with that product, I have the nylon coated aluminium so I will OPT OUT of your question and maybe other will have what you need.

Sorry I could not help

DO not use a grinder on this as it can blow up the grinder wheel....you need like a cut off saw...electric hacksaw

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I would like to preserve the pipes for reuse if I can instead of cutting them up

Expert:  Joe Barfield replied 1 year ago.

Hi, just cut them off close so you can reuse them

Expert:  Joe Barfield replied 1 year ago.

just rethread them

I can call you if you want, maybe I'm missing something here

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

No nee for a call. Its simple. I have a bunch of air lines run throughout the building and some if it I would like to remove. I tried to loosen the lines to disconnect but wasn't able to. Looking for a method to loosen them up without having to cut them.

Expert:  Joe Barfield replied 1 year ago.

Well you can heat them but if you get them to hot they will just melt real fast I'm a certified mechanist as well

Expert:  Joe Barfield replied 1 year ago.

you would heat & let cool for 5 min...then take them apart

Expert:  Joe Barfield replied 1 year ago.

2 pipe wrenches as you know...that's about it...that would melt the thread sealer in the pipes

anything else ?
