I have a 2004 isuzu rodeo. My check engine light came on

Customer Question

I have a 2004 isuzu rodeo. My check engine light came on with a 430 low threshold for the oxygen sensor bank 1/2 and 2/2. I bought 4 new sensors, catalytic converters for both sides, and a air filter sensor. what else could it be because the same code still shows up.

Hi there. Welcome to our site.

I'm a little confused on how specifically I can help you; can you clarify whether you're just seeking an educated opinion on what could be wrong, or are you looking for technical guidance on how to fix the issue yourself – if the latter, must have tools and mechanical skills?

I spent a lot of money already buying four oxygen sensors, new catalytic converters, a tune up, gas cap, and a mass filter sensor, but the light is still on saying below threshold on bank 1/2 and 2/2. Plus it has a slight shake to it. I am not going to do it myself, but before I pay anymore money I need to know the right problem.
