Hi. Too replace the shift knob, you should just have to pull down on the boot to remove it from the shift knob. Then the knob just unscrews from the shaft. There may be a little lock-tight on the threads so it may be a little hard to get it started, but it will unscrew. Thanks and let me know how it goes. Thanks.

the knob also have clip at the end, how to release the clip and unscrew the knob, this a 2008 accord. I'll send a photo

Ok I saw the pic. On that model, to remove the boot you have to squeeze those tabs in. Then once the boot is removed the knob unscrews.
