When truck is in fourth gear (5-speed) and traveling at most speeds it jumps and jerks and clangs when I let off the gas (accelerator). Any suggestions?
hi this sound like you have a bad drive shaft you will need to check the u joints in the drive shafts .both front and rear there are two drive shafts and two u joints in each shaft let me know if you have more questions .

How do I test them?

you just have to push and pull on the joints and see if they are loose if they are replace them
