Is there a cheaper liquid alternative to starting fluid to find vacuum leaks on 4 stroke engines?

Welcome! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will do my best to assist you with this problem.

you can use carburetor cleaner OR a small propane torch canister with an attachment on it to attach a small rubber hose on the tip and open up the propane and some will come out of the rubber hose and when it hits a vacuum leak it will rev up the engine or make it stall
