Ok, this may be a failed starter motor, or a fuse problem. Do you have a 12 volt test light so we can do a little testing?
no test light. What fuses are you talking about-- I checked the fuses in the box under the hood and the relay switches and also the small fuse box on the side of the dash.
Ok, well fuse V and fuse G in the under hood fuse box are the ones for the starting circuit. See if you can get a cheap 12 volt test light. I want to check for power at the starter relay cavities.
If I got a light, how would I test it, where do I connect it
Can I check the cavities for continunity?
You will connect the test light clip to a good ground like a metal part on the engine, and then remove the relay. Now probe the cavities where the relay plugs into. One of the 2 large cavities should show voltage all the time. Get a light and check that for me Jerry,
