This answer was rated:

where do I find the reverse light wire in the loom to add a backing beeper

Hello, I hope I can offer you some assistance.

Do you have the VIN? So I can obtain the correct wiring details.

Let me know and I'll reply as soon as I'm able to.

Thank you.

Is the wiring loom in the LHS rear corner, behind the removable panel in the side trim?

Hello again,

you can access the loom in the left hand rear quarter panel, as you say behind the trim, you should be able to see it when you remove the panel to access the fuse box.

The reverse light wire is in connector C44MN in the diagram below. It is a green/brown wire and is at pin 5 of the connector.

Best wishes,

Thanks for this. How do I remove the complete trim panel from that side to get more access to the wiring etc. I can see a couple of screws, one at either side of the top plastic moulding just below the bottom edge of the glass, but there must be more before I can remove it.

Hello again,

to remove the complete panel, remove the loadspace carpet and the retractable cover if fitted.

Remove the scuff panel by removing the 4 fasteners and then unclipping it, fold the rear seat down and unclip the arch trim. You then remove the top interior quarter panel and then the main panel.

Below are some diagrams to assist you.

( a bit if a tight squeeze getting at the wiring loom but finally managed it without pulling all the panels off :-))
