aerostar: hello,is there any deference on the powersteering

hello,is there any deference on the powersteering rack and pinion for ford aerostar all weels drive and two weels drive?
Hi there,
I am showing the same part number for both the 2wd and the AWD, so there should be no difference in the rack and pinion.
So to answer your question, there is no difference.
Hope this helps!

hi,i Wonder how you remove the inner tie rod end,on a ford aerostar?

There is a pin in the inner tie rod that has to come out, then it's just threaded on the end of the rack. Here is a pic. You can't get this out without removing that pin. They are a real pain in the butt to do without the tool to remove the pin.

hi thanks for the answer, but do i have to hold the shaft With the teeths

After you remove the pin, then you should not have to hold the steering gear. They also use lock tite on these so it takes some effort to break loose. The steering gear should not spin when you take the inner off.
