Huy: I want to change the timing belt. It looks like I will

This answer was rated:

I want to change the timing belt.
It looks like I will need to prop up the engine and remove the motor mount, is that right?
I would like the belt aligment configuration.
Thanks,
Derek
Hello and welcome to Justanswer,

Derek, what make, model and engine are you working on?

Derek,

You are correct, you need to remove the motor mount over the timing cover and brace the engine and you can raise and lower the engine as needed for clearance. See the alignment steps HERE
