What happens when you add brake fluid to your power steering

What happens when you add brake fluid to your power steering fluid container in your car by mistake?
Hello and welcome to Justanswer,

You are going to need to drain the power steering system, the break fluid is water soluble and will not mix and it need to come out right away. The best way to get all of it out is to have a power steering flush done, this will remove 100% of it .
