i want to hook up a trailer brake controller on my 1998 Fleetwood Pace Arrow, cant find the tail light wire from the master cylinder area...it hydraulic and theres no brake light switch that i can find like on my pick up truck

You can go to the brake light switch and hook the wire for the trailer as well.
Under dash, look up and above brake pedal you will see a switch connected to brake pedal bar above the pedal. Get a test light and check each of the two wires; and the one that does not light up the test light is the one you need to hook into. Key on when doing this test. Now when you press the brake pedal the trailer lights will come on.
