2004 GMC ENVOY 4.2 ing. I had the pump working


fine for about three mounths now it has failed again


does not come on at all Fuses are good.

Ground brown wire at pin 44 of connector 1 at the PCM and let me know if air pump turns on, here is a picture of PCM. Let me know, thanks.

At the air injection relay pin 86 should have voltage with key on and pin 85 should have ground when grounding brown wire at PCM. Let me know which one is missing, thanks.

86 has voltage but 85 has no ground

With brown wire grounded # XXXXX still has no ground

This means there is a broken wire between relay and PCM. You will need to remove the fusebox and inspect connector, then do same thing at PCM. If connectors are in good condition run a new brown wire from relay to PCM. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions, thanks.
