Ford Windstar 1998. Engine size: have no idea

Hi,

Ok, the blinking check engine light means an engine misfire - this could be the plugs, plug wires, ignition coil pack or distributor depending upon which engine is in it. It also can be clogged fuel injectors, faulty fuel injectors, base engine concern or weak fuel pressure.

If it has been more than 60,000 miles since last tune-up, I would start there.

If just done recently, then the first is to have the engine computer read for fault codes which will tell the area of concern.
