This can be caused when you have a bad alternator.
The first thing you want to check is for proper voltage coming out of the alternator with the vehicle running. Get a volt-meter with AC alternating current setting on place the probes on the battery terminals. You should get a reading around 13.0-15.0 If the voltage is below 13 the alternator is not charging.
A failing alternator is a very likely culprit to everything that started. Without proper voltage the computer is unable to work properly setting the codes and lights.
