This answer was rated:

Hi, am working on a 2005 Ford Courier 4L SOHC V6 motor, the motor is a German built motor, also fitted to the Explorer range. Could any one tell me what the SOHC bearing bolt torque is, the bearings are four raised pedestals per head with 6.8 mm x 40mm tensile bolts.? The camshaft is driven by a chain on at frount L/hand bank and at the rear of the motor on the right hand bank.

Can you send me a darter sheet that shows all the bolt tensions and sequences for the top end of the engine including inlet and exhaust manifolds, cam, etc. thanks this information seem to differ on earlier built engines. I would like to know we're I could purchase a service manual and cam timing kit for this motor. Any information on this motor would be gratefully received, my email address is [email protected] this motor seems to be a rarity in Australia.
