Thank you for trusting us with your automotive questions. The catalytic converters absorb some of the exhaust emissions that are harmful to the environment. In today modern vehicles, the computers monitor these converters and if removed, you will have a check engine light on and your vehicle will not be able to properly adjust the air fuel mixture. This can actually reduce fuel mileage. There are some aftermarket parts that can trick the computer, but these are illegal for on road travel in most states. Your best off to leave your converter on the vehicle.
