Isuzu Ascender: How do I replace the stabilitrak module on

This answer was rated:

How do I replace the stabilitrak module on my 2007 Isuzu Ascender 2wd i290?

The stabilitrak works off of the abs module (ebcm). Is this what you replaced? This would not cause your vehicle to not start. Is theft light staying on?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I replaced the Eng/Motor Cont Mod 590-00744, stock # XXXXX This was supposed to be the stabilitrak module. nothing else was replaced. I think this may need to be programmed, but I have no other information

By that part number you replaced the ecm. This is the engine control module. Yes it has to be programmed and then theft learn done. This is why engine will not crank.
