Hi,

the easiest way is to use a battery terminal puller to press it off. you can get the puller for about $5 at any parts store. here is how to use it :

you can also use a screwdriver to slide under the arm near the shaft and pry up to remove it, but this usually scratches the paint up.

The method with the battery terminal is best method to remove the wiper arm without harming the paint
