Oldmobile Aurora: I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5L V6.

Resolved Question:

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5L V6. I am currently having a "hot start" problem. The car starts when cold (mornings, sits 6Hrs +) Again the car will start cold just fine but when hot it grinds for 6-7 seconds before starting but the majority of the time it cant keep a high enough rpm right away to keep the idle. I have had the throttle body cleaned, fuel pump pressure has been tested and is also fine. My local small town mechanic told me to put some super concentrated injector cleaner in the gas tank to try that, but still nothing. Its not a major concern just an inconvenience. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated

Still nothing. I am bringing it to a gm dealership to try it there. Could it be antifreeze on the spark plugs?

Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 2 years ago.

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
