doesthe engine light stay on?if so,can you give me the computer codes?
no computer codes.
i also forgot to mention that, my local mechanic said nothing showed
without any codes...
i will give you my thoughts
tyou sound as if you may have a bad crank sensor
these can do this sometimes and
not give a trouble code
but why would it only do it when hot?
these can break down with heat when they go bad
het will do this
heat will do this sometimes when the sensor is bad
i know my mechanic also tried something else but i cant remember what. He said he put a piece on but it didnt make a difference so he took it off
so does the $24 go to you now even if it doesnt work
are you still in the chat?
i will try this before i rate the service
all i can do without you getting any codes
is an educated
have you ran into this problem before then?
and this has been the problem?
sometimes it may even get to where the engine may just die
after it gets hot
thennstart after it cools
it will start when hot it just takes a couple times usually
after 6-7 seconds
while i still have you can you give me any other info
if i can
lets hear it
i mean on your end. if its not the sensor any other ideas?
well..most things will give a code
fuel pressure but,,you have already tested it
what does the fuel pressure need t be
so,,the crank sensor is a good canidate to cause your problem,,from the way you explain
Fuel System Pressure
do you have an email i can contact you on if your right with your idea
sorry we cant give or receive personal info
all you need to do..is sign in,,and reply back to this thread
do i need the upper or lower sensor?
I just picked up the sensor. Does it take much to install?
I had the sensor installed. it seemed like it helped very minimal but still a little on the idle. any other ideas?
No check engine or codes
i called the local gm dealership and they said the only other option i could try would be the camshaft sensor.
Just a review of what i have done
Fuel pump pressure-OK
Throttle Body Cleaned
Crankshaft Position Sensor
Attachments are only available to registered users.
does the camshaft sensor sound like a logical problem?
Well tim i will let you know.
Thanks for all your help
Still nothing. I am bringing it to a gm dealership to try it there. Could it be antifreeze on the spark plugs?
Any other suggestions?

ok. any reasoning on why the computer is only messing up on hot starts or is it just the computer being a computer?
would a computer be hard to replace? any special programming needed?
