isuzu Rodeo: 2002 rodeo...has problem with intermitant wiper

This answer was rated:

2002 rodeo...has problem with intermitant wiper function....blades just stop......wipers work fine in regular mode(fast and slow) motor is good.
could this be in the switch on coloum.....or might it be a relay that i could order and replace myself?
There is a control unit that sends power to the wiper switch. When you change the intermittent speed it varies the resistance that is sent back to that control unit. You can eliminate the switch by noting the voltage going into it on light green/black wire and measuring for return voltage on the Blue/red wire. If you have nothing coming out of the switch it is bad.
