when shifting into 3rd
if the rpms are high, (3000-3500rpms)
there is slight crunching/grinding
Is there anything I can do about this;
besides trying to keep rpms down when upshifting into 3rd? Does the whole clutch need replaced?
Is there something else. The rest of the shiftings are smooth and perfect; no matter what.

i wouldnt think this is a cltch problem,,sense it only does it in the one gear

sounds more like,,the sycronizers..in the transmission

if we keep the rpms down and avoid the crunches can we get along for a while; do you think?

well..i would think the transmission will need to be rebuilt or replaced to fix this

problem arose while teaching him to drive manually
