Is the engine light on when this happens?

Customer replied 274 days and 12 hours ago.

I've been too busy watching the tach and refiring the engine to notice.

Ok but after the vehicle has stalled it will have to sit a few minutes until the vehicle will start again is this correct?

Customer replied 274 days and 8 hours ago.

No, it will start right up but the problem continues until the ignition is turned off and the cars sits for awhile. I don't mean to sound rude or ungrateful, but I was hoping to get a response from someone who has come across this problem before and could give me an answer based on experience and not just an educated guess, which I think is where we are headed. Correct?

I've been in the field over 20 years and do not guess on anything . I've come across this problem before yes and it can be more then one issue as the cause .Most common is a failing crank position sensor . What happens is as it heats up it starts to short out and loose it's signal to the ECM and then cuts spark and causes the vehicle to stall. This is the most common issue . Another common issue is a shorting out electrical portion of the ignition switch or faulty ignition control module . These are what need to be checked next for this issue . Also if the plugs are fouled it will also cause this problem. It's like going to the doctor and you have extreme abdominal pain and they determine from location and pain it's your appendix. They remove it without doing any tests and it happens that you has chrones disease . That happend to me that's why I am so thorough and will not ever guess at a problem. These are your most common issues and what need to be checked next . Hoped this helped. Bonuses greatly appreciated. Please rate excellent service so I get credit for my help anything lower then ok service gives me negative feedback and I do not get compensated for my time thanks . If you need further assistance just let me know.

I emailed your thoughts to my mechanic for his consideration. If one of your suggestions fixes the problem, I will have no problem giving you a high rating and bonus.

No problem keep me posted .

Customer replied 260 days and 17 hours ago.

As expected, the service manager drove the car for a week and never had a problem. They want me to drive the car and take it to them when the stalling occurs again. They don't want to guess either. Will keep you in the loop.
