We have a 1999 Rodeo. It wouldn't start. The battery was completely dead. AAA jumped it and suggested new battery. The battery was replaced. Now it isn't starting again.

Do you know what the charging voltage is?
Does it seem to go dead over night?
I am not sure of the charging voltage but the AAA person did intimate that possibly there is a starter issue. Also sitting overnight isn't the issue. It actually didn't start, after the new battery was in, and when left overnight it did start. Now the key turns dash and indicating lights on, but care won't start.
Yes, that could very well well be a starter problem. You will want to see if there is power to the "S" terminal, (the small wire) when the key is turned. There also was a service bulletin for a starter (solenoid) issue.....
