is the one way chck valve by the filler neck supposed to leak during a smoke test? 2008 sorento 3.3

Already Tried:
changed purge valve twice next step was said to run a smoke test so i did,,, it was leaking only at check valve,,,is it supposed to leak out like that or not?

Are you talking about the valve in the filler neck itself that keeps fuel from spilling out of the filler neck?

no ,,,,its like a bleed off valve,,,,its a white box below the filler neck,,,i ran a smoke test and it was leaking at check valve,,,there two hoses that meet at neck with valve on it,,,i is all one piece,,,

You might be talking about the liquid/vapor separator. If so then it should not be leaking.

ok great,,,just to be shure ,,,smoke should not escape the seperator during a smoke test

yes sir steve it does,,,ive ordered the part it wll be at my shop on tue morning,,,after i install it, i will run another smoke test to confirm that was the prob,,,will let y know what happens,, thank you for the reserch and will let yaknow tue morning,,,this has been the hardest p0441 ive ever seen,,,thanks steve, this is the first time ive used this service and am very satisfied
