1. That defective rate information is not share to the public due to potential class action law suit situation. Honda motor company will never release that piece of the information. This is not the first problem they've hide from the public. Our database is from a third party source and they get it from independence transmission shops.
2. If you replace only the convertor only, there is big chance the trans will fails later on. Plus you will have a warranty on a complete unit, whereas replacing the convertor will possibly fix the problem, but will have no warranty. Many shops will only change the whole trans to SAVE TIME. They don't want to take the change of a come back.
3. Honda had officially discontinued their old ATF and change to DW1.
4. The A.T. fluid change (normal condition) should be changed at 45k, 75k, 105k, 135k and so on.
