Hello, Welcome to Just Answer. So I may better assist you could you tell me the year make and model of the vehicle as well as how this came about?
Ford Focus 1.6 2003.
Problem just happened yesterday when driving up a small incline. Will take to mechanic on Mon.
Can you check the fluid level?
Fluid level ok. Dash warning light for transmission cooling on and ignition warning light on when driving.
And you have NO reverse, Correct?
yes
Unfortunately I don't believe this is something you can correct yourself with my assistance. You will need to take the vehicle to a repair shop on Monday as you indicated. I recommend that you have the vehicle towed as attempting to drive the vehicle may further damage the transmission. Let Me check for any additional information such as Technical Service Bulletins. I will return shortly.
No there are no Technical Service Bulletins pertaining to this condition. You will need to take it in to have it diagnosed and repaired. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Can you hazard a guess as to what these symptoms might indicate? I appreciate that you can't give a definitive answer via this communication.
It's difficult to say without being able to inspect the vehicle. If the fluid level is fine and appears in serviceable condition I would suspect a problem with the reverse clutch and or the valve body. An early step in the diagnosis would be to interrogate the fault memory of the transmission control module to see if any faults are stored that may indicate the cause of this these conditions.
