Suzuki XL-7: 2003 xl7 error code p0131 o2 sensor bank 1 sensor

Resolved Question:

2003 xl7 error code p0131 o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. I replaced sensor drove it 20 miles seem ok no more error code. Then next day error code p0134 no activity. Bad sensor or wires? I don't want to take it to my local dealer as they couldn't tell me what side bank 1 is on then told me they changed it for each year made. Really!!! No thank you. Please help!

Did you change the drivers side front sensor?

No I couldn't get the correct the right info from Suzuki or the Internet some say driver side some say pass. Suzuki tech said he thinks it the pass. Side so that is what I replaced.

Well bank 1 is the drivers side for sure. So put your old sensor in the drivers side or put a new one in the drivers side. Bank 1 on every engine made for the US is the bank with #1 cylinder on it.
