Ask a Car Mechanic and Get Answers to Your Car Questions ASAP
Hi, i was reading your question and wasnt sure if you were still looking for help?
just a thought that occurs to me, most vehicles will NOT run the computers emissions monitor self tests if the engine coolant does not reach full normal temperature. Id like to suggest you check to make sure the thermostat is in good working order, not stuck open or closed. and that the engine is reaching full operating temp, warming up in the proper amount of time.
Let me know if it helps you out!
