Hi..

Hopefully i can help..

Is there any particular reason the handbrake assembly needs to be moved/relocated?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I drive with a manual right hand clutch fitted below the steering wheel and the hand brake being where it is makes hill starts very difficult.

Sadly its not a conversion i have seen being done before - but i do know exactly what you mean as per the location - "If" it can be done then it would need to be properly mounted on the opposite side of the drivers seat - as it is where it was currently intended to be on the right.- added to that you would need to make elimiante or make modifications to the cables/equializer(s)lever system and the cable brought through the floor on that side - you would ideally need to find someone who can do such a modification at the sametime making sure the handbraking system still operates efficiently as it is a testable item during mot..
