Ok is the ticking from under the valve cover or under the hood?

the engine sounds noisey when you are driving at any speed

Ok this is a problem with oil pressure and what you are hearing are the hydraulic litters making excessive noise due to lack of oil. You need to have an oil pressure test done to see what the issue is. Could be a clogged pick up or failing pump or even clogged oil ports. This needs to be checked asap . Lack of oil will cause excessive friction and heat in the motor and can cause engine failure. These are the next steps. Hoped this helped. Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated.
