You can have auto zone auto parts, or advance read the fault codes, and reset the light.
If the fault codes are hard the light may come back on. the fault then will have to be diagnose and repaired.
the only way to reset the engine light on your vehicle is to use a scanner that can communicate with the engine module. auto zone provides this service free of charge and that is a good way for you to see what the code is and save money at the same time. there is nothing you can do your self without a scanner.
Auto zone is a parts store and not a mechanic and again the service is FREE. I think that is a good answer.
