Are you able to enter the vehicle at all?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Yes. All other doors are unlocked. Key unlocks the passenger door just not the drivers door.

Ok the problem is a seized drivers door latch. Unfortunately this is not an easy repair. You will need to remove the door panel with the door closed which can damage the door panel then you will need to drill out the old latch to get the door to open . Then replace the latch. Unfortunately these are the next steps.Hoped this helped. Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated.

Up until this time there have been no problems. Door locks are greased up and we never lock the door.( Not required here as there is little theft where we live. ) The door locked itself when I got out. It set off the alarm and after resetting would no longer open.

Yep that's the actuator and latch seizing . This will need to be replaced to fix this issue. Hoped this helped. Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated.
