hi this may be the throttle position sensor issue ,when you push the pedal to the floor it will put the car in a clear mode that is it will stop the injectors from letting fuel through ,there should be 5 volts going into the tps and when you push the gas pedal down all the way it should show 4.50-5 volts on the return wire ,if you hook this to a good scanner...guy....
