CarDoc :

Hello, I'm Jason. I will do my best to answer your question quickly and accurately using the information you have provided.

CarDoc :

I'll first need to know if it's a front or rear bearing

CarDoc :

Well, I'll be able to give you estimate for both front and rear

Customer:

front

CarDoc :

Front bearings, per side will be charged 2.5 hours per side

CarDoc :

ok, thanks

CarDoc :

so for example, if the shop rate is $100/hr, then $250 for labor

CarDoc :

The bearing, part number C2S8276 retails for $48.90

Customer:

what is it ????and is it important to replace??

CarDoc :

The wheel bearing allows the drive axles to spin freely in what is known as the suspension "upright", so it essentially keeps the outer axles in place, and is a base for the wheel hub and brake rotor to spin on

CarDoc :

I can show you in a diagram if that would help

Customer:

yes please

CarDoc :

now, this isn't the exact front suspension setup on your car, but it's very similar. I have indicated where the bearing lives with a red arrow:
