We are trying to change engines in Land Rover..bellhousing..bolts

Customer Question

We are trying to change engines in Land Rover and can't reach/remove the last two bellhousing bolts. Got 12 of 14 out. Stuck on the last two. Any tricks?

Try a very long extension or multiple extensions and a universal joint socket.

So, theres no trick like cutting the floorboard for access? My mechanic is down in his back a little and hasn't been able to get a good set on the last two bolts. I'll let him know more extensions and u-joint in line. That should reposition him further back the driveline. Anything else?

That should do it. You will be further back. Also consider dropping the trans a little by removing the mount to give you more room.
