2001 Isuzu NPR Box truck

Hello! Welcome to justanswer!

Fill the filter to the top with fuel then install it.

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
would the wrong filter prevent the truck from starting?
No, it wouldn't fit if it was wrong. Putting an empty filter would cause a serious amount of air in the system. Fill the filter and repeat as many times as necessary to get it running.

so i shouldn't need to prime the line. I had to do this when I ran out of gas. So pull the filter back off and fill it and then reinstal and then try to start again?
Right.
