Customer Question

I have a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe. The rear taillights remain on after the car is shutoff. What is wrong with it?

Hello I will help you with your question,

Pull the two tail light fuses from the passenger compartment fuse block, these are 27 and 28. If the lights go out let me know and we can work from there

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

The vehicle is not at home at present. My wife is at work until 11:00pm

tonight. Will let you know as soon as possible. Thanks

Ok, I'm afraid I will not be awake at 11 so if you wish I can OPT OUT and allow others that may be awake to assist you but pulling the 27 and 28 fuse from the passenger fuse block should turn the tail lights out for the night or if it is the brake lights then disconnect the brake switch on the shaft of the brake pedal and that should turn them out until you can find the cause of the fault.

Let me know if you want me to OPT OUT

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I guess you can OPT OUT, Thanks sorry the vehicle wasn't here for me to try.

OK just let me know if you want me back in when you get the vehicle and I am online, I will be glad to help
