Billy :

Hello and welcome to JA!!!

Billy :

I'm Billy and i will assist you with this.

Billy :

First, i would appreciate some more info on the matter:

Billy :

- what engine size and type do you have (e.g. 2.0 liters, petrol)

Billy :

- do you have any warning lights on or flashing on dash?

Billy :

- does the engine stall when still cold......or even when warm?

Billy :

Please include any info that might be relevant (other symptoms, recent work done etc...).....

JACUSTOMER-qusfhxil- :

1600 it starts from cold, and runs ok, then when you come to a junction etc it cuts out

JACUSTOMER-qusfhxil- :

it is a 51 plate

Billy :

petrol or diesel?

JACUSTOMER-qusfhxil- :

petrol

Billy :

ok

Billy :

In that case, you most probably have a faulty wiring, it is a common fault in your model

Billy :

There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) on the matter, which states what needs to be checked and replaced, in details,

Billy :

I will post the info.......

Billy :

It suggests the checking and replacement of the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor and wiring (multiplug)......

Billy :

It would cause the issue you are having.,.....

Billy :

Regards,
